As one of the seven Buddhist treasures, Liuli is a sacred material that brings good energy to those around it. The long road that each piece of Liuli must travel to become part of the Dianpei Liuli series is a metaphor for the path each of us must travel through life.

Liuli glass
Dianpei Liuli is made by hand, with strict attention to detail, and fired in a kiln at 1,400 °C. Each piece travels its own long road to the tearoom.

Twelve cups, twelve fish. Painted in collaboration with the Shanghai watercolour artist Hexi, on matte-white Jingdezhen porcelain chosen for its shine and hand feel.
